Meet the Animator Behind the Cuteness
Q: Tell us about yourself and your role at GIANTS Software.
A: I’m Rahul Narode, Senior Animator at GIANTS Software. I worked on various animations for Farming Simulator 25, ensuring they met our standards before integrating them into the game.
Q: How do you approach the animation process?
A: I start by thoroughly understanding what’s needed for each animal—studying characteristics, observing movement, and gathering reference materials. I look for videos showcasing real animal behavior to capture even the smallest details. Once I’m confident in my references, I begin animating and revise the work through several stages until it meets our expectations.
Q: What unique behaviors do baby animals exhibit, and what challenges come with animating them?
A: Baby animals have unique, quick movements that make them challenging to animate. Capturing their swift and playful energy through keyframe animation is particularly tricky, but worth it to bring them to life authentically.
Q: Do you have a favorite baby animal in the game, and why?
A: Baby goats are my favorite in Farming Simulator 25. Their hopping and playful antics are adorable and bring such lively energy. Personally, though, I love rabbits—they’re small, fast, and their ear movements are fascinating.
Q: Any final thoughts for fans?
A: We’ve put a lot of effort into making Farming Simulator 25 a unique experience. I hope our players have as much fun playing as we did creating it!
