This map is in updated beta release (0.9.1.0). But I’d rather you check it out and enjoy it while I am learning in Giants Editor. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, feedback or ways to improve the map.

This is a full map download and not a savegame file. Should be much easier for you than my previous attempts in FS22 at savegames.

Welcome to a Small Town in the USA. This is a 1x map based on New Frontier by Ola Haldor and Maps of Norway. In fact, the entire backbone of the map is New Frontier. I’ve just modified to my liking. It plays like a much larger map.

I’ve used a number of items from great modders in the FS community. Once I have a version 1.0 published I will make sure to attribute everyone. Thank you.
There are no fences. You can add your own.
I kept the wood mill, farmers market and animal dealer that Ola Haldor setup in the updated version of New Frontier. They are just in a different location on the map.
There are no additional productions. You can add your own.
The grain silo and train area is still in development. Would love to get a JWeezy train added in the future.
There is only 1 main farm with very large fields.
Two of the main fields are over 90 acers.
The town is quite small and is representative of the many small towns in the US that continue to live on despite difficult times.
MB Dyson John Deere, Tractor Supply and the upcoming Dollar General are what keep the town alive.
You have plenty of room to add your own farm.
I’d recommend adding a gas station to the blank area in town.
You can also possibly add some more houses.
I will continue to update and modify the map as I learn new things. For example, the JD dealership has collisions, but I don’t have them for the doors. I need to learn that. I also don’t have a clue how to add a fuel trigger to a gas station for an item in a map. I’m learning.
I hope you enjoy this map. I enjoyed making it.

Field Sizes/List: Total land size with original New Frontier small fields = 143.33ha (354.17 acres)
Field 6 – 2.33ha (5.7 acre)
Field 7 – 33.47ha (82.7 acre)
Field 8 – 36.42ha (90.0 acre)
Field 9 – 11.42ha (28.21 acre)
Field 10 – 17.78ha (43.88 acre)
Field 11 – 29.51ha (72.92 acre)
Field 12 – 9.42ha (23.27 acre)
Field 13 – 3.3ha (8.15 acre)
Field 14 – 4.03ha (9.95 acre)

BETA 2
Rescaled a number of items that were suggested.
We have a trail system. With primitive camping.
CRS Johnston Forestry Management now lives in its own area on the map.
Henderson Animals has also been separated and is independent.
Firetowower.
Something clipped a bunch of trees back on 10.11.24 and shot a debris field over on the NW side of the map. I don’t know what it is. But you will have to check it out when I get the update loaded.
We’ve got train tracks over at the grain sell point.
Emergency Services Center with my favorite Sheriff Tom Benelli and Chief Jim Hopper. It’s a small town so it’s a shared services center.
Added a small town park and a new music store opened shop.
MD Dyson actually looks like it has products to sell now.
Working on getting the file size down. Needing to remove i3d files carefully while making sure all my texture files stay correct.

It sounds like you have put a lot of effort and creativity into developing this Small Town USA map based on New Frontier by Ola Haldor and Maps of Norway. Here are some suggestions and feedback to help improve the map:

1. **Attribution for Modders**: It's great that you plan to attribute all modders whose work you have used in your map. Make sure to give proper credit to them in the map description or credits section.

2. **Adding Fences**: Consider adding fences around the fields, farms, and other areas to enhance the realism of the map.

3. **Additional Productions**: While you have mentioned that there are no additional productions on the map, you could think about incorporating some new production facilities to provide more gameplay options for users.

4. **Train Area Development**: It's good to hear that the grain silo and train area are still in development. Adding a JWeezy train would be a nice touch to enhance the transportation aspect of the map.

5. **Main Farm Expansion**: Since there is only one main farm with very large fields, players might enjoy having more options to expand or customize their farming operations. Consider adding more smaller farms or customizable areas.

6. **Town Infrastructure**: Adding a gas station and more houses to the town can help enhance the overall atmosphere and functionality of the map.

7. **Collisions and Triggers**: Learning to add collisions to the doors of the JD dealership and setting up fuel triggers for the gas station are good skills to work on. There are tutorials available online to help you with these aspects.

8. **Field Sizes**: Providing a detailed list of field sizes is helpful for players to plan their farming activities efficiently. Consider showcasing this information in-game for easy access.

9. **Update and Modification**: Continuously updating and modifying the map based on feedback and your learning experiences is commendable. Keep refining the map to make it more engaging for players.

10. **Optimizing File Size**: Work on optimizing the file size while ensuring that all texture files remain intact. This will help improve performance and accessibility for users downloading the map.

Overall, it sounds like you have a solid foundation for the map and are dedicated to enhancing it further. Keep exploring new features, incorporating player feedback, and honing your skills in Giants Editor to create a captivating and immersive gameplay experience. Good luck with your map development journey!
