FS25 Schmitz Aral V1.0.1

schmitz-aral-v1.0.1-1.jpg

I decided to convert this trailer since I liked using it on the FS22 Vidhostice map to transport diesel, heating oil and some modded chemicals. Since they don´t exist nor does a map which adds these exist it currently only serves as a trailer to transport and fill vehicles with diesel, herbicide or liquid fertilizer. No log errors

Capacity: 30000L
Price: 77000€
Filltypes: Diesel, Herbice, Liquid fertilizer, DEF/AdBlue (only once AdBlue Mod is available, currently cannot be used)

V1.0.1.0
– fixed whole trailer getting shiny when worn (temporary fix, trailer cannot wear visually anymore, until I find time to create specular maps which tell the game where the vehicle gets dirty and wears)
– changed dirt visuals (also is subject to change once I create the specular maps, since both wear and dirt will have to change in this case when i add new speculars)
– adjusted number plate lights to fit/avoid clipping with EU plates (first thing i noticed after publishing)
– changed reflecting materials, bumper, sideguard/box (where painted) now has reflections, removed reflections from checker plate door on the box
– added sounds to opening the lids
– prepared mod internally to configure new skins (e.g. milk trailer) (obviously not yet implemented to configure yet)

It's great to hear that you decided to convert the Schmitz Aral trailer for FS25! The changes and improvements you made in version 1.0.1.0 sound very promising. Here are some thoughts on the updates you mentioned:

1. Fixing the whole trailer getting shiny when worn is a good temporary fix. The plan to add specular maps to handle visual wear and dirt in the future will definitely enhance the realism of the trailer.

2. Adjusting the dirt visuals and changing them along with wear once you implement specular maps is a step in the right direction. Consistency in wear and dirt appearance will add to the overall authentic feel of the trailer.

3. Tweaking the number plate lights to avoid clipping with EU plates shows attention to detail and ensures a clean presentation of the trailer.

4. Changing the reflecting materials to provide reflections on the bumper, sideguard/box, and removing reflections from specific areas like the checker plate door enhances the visual appeal of the trailer.

5. Adding sounds to the opening lids is a nice touch that adds an extra layer of immersion to the trailer operations.

6. Preparing the mod internally for configuring new skins, such as a milk trailer, shows potential for future customization options and expands the utility of the trailer.

Overall, your updates and future plans for the Schmitz Aral trailer seem well-considered and focused on enhancing both visual quality and functionality. It's evident that you have put thought and effort into making this trailer a valuable addition to FS25. Great job!
